The setting was a deliberate and foreseen act that generated meaning, and so is the understanding of the body present there. The passing of time is reflected not just in my individual absence from the stool but also in the passing of the people who helped me create that room and these hollow molds. A memory is made and then fades over time, which suggests the loss of a source or person.

These molds have symbolic and figurative qualities, and their manifestation as a part of the body demonstrates embodiment. These works can be looked at as installations or as works that have the qualities of installations in order to evoke both conceptual and visceral experiences in site-specific settings.
